One number, $125 per year, at every membership level, and no first-year discount surfaced in our review; the figure you see at signup is the figure that recurs. That stability is genuinely worth something. What the fee funds is an agent service attached to a wide menu of legal subscriptions: templates, attorney consultations, the rest. If the menu matters to you, the attachment adds value. If it does not, you are financing features you will never open.

5. ZenBusiness, $199 at renewal

The engineering deserves the praise it receives; no competing dashboard is better built. The price structure earns less. A standalone agent purchase begins at $99 plus state fees, and the renewal thereafter runs $199 per year. Whatever the first invoice says, the second says $199, and the second one is the one that repeats. Make the judgment at $199.

6. Bizee (formerly Incfile), $149 standalone

The bundle is the pitch: agent service included free for 3 to 12 months with an LLC formation package, the length depending on tier. For a business forming anyway, those months are real money. The standalone rate is $149 per year, which is also the rate that activates when the included months end, so record that date at signup.

7. LegalZoom, $249 per year

$249 per year buys the most famous name in the business, flat and auto-renewing, with no first-year discount located in our review. It is also the top flat rate on this page, and every flat-priced vendor above it charges less for the same statutory function. The premium purchases recognition, which is a legitimate buy so long as it is a deliberate one.

8. Swyft Filings, $149 quarterly

The invoice reads $149 and arrives four times a year. Annualized, the cost is roughly $596, the highest effective figure in this comparison, with no distinct first-year discount found. A rate that requires arithmetic before it can be compared has usually been priced to discourage the comparison, and the position here reflects that.

9. Inc Authority, renewal unpublished

The first year costs $0. The renewal costs a number the company does not print: absent from the FAQ, absent from the package pages, absent from the homepage, presumably supplied at checkout or over the phone. A subscription whose second-year price is a secret exhibits the precise pattern this page was assembled to expose, and it finishes ninth for it.

Form DO-3: Leaving an Agent Costs $0 in Arkansas

Arkansas removes the usual penalty for choosing wrong. The statement of change under Ark. Code Ann. § 4-20-108, published as the combined Notice of Change of Registered Agent Information, Form DO-3, one document serving every entity type, carries no state fee at all: the PDF is marked NO FEE, and submitting online through the state's corporate filing system is free as well.
